Angelina Jolie says she's missing sex and would be happy to have a fling rather than a serious relationship.

The actress, who admits she hasn't had sex for over a year, revealed her innermost feelings to American chat show host Barbara Walters.

She said: "I'm starting to really want it (sex) and miss it again."

Angelina split from Billy Bob Thornton in July last year, and she told Barbara she's not bothered if her next relationship is a serious one.

She said: "I've never really had just lovers."
